Ruth Rogers, founder of The Canvas believes that humans are amazing, they just need space to be so. The Canvas, on first glance may just look like a brightly coloured vegan café just off ever popular Brick Lane in East London. However, this social impact business is showing just how things can be done differently. From pay it forward boards, to help people in need get access to hot food and drinks, through to  a Creative Hub that can help provide springboards for new businesses, The Canvas truly puts meaning to the phrase ‘people before profit’.
